World Wide Technology Championship title when he tees off at the El Cardonal.
What to know about Van Rooyen
The South African star attended the University of Minnesota from 2009 through 2013, and he won the 2012 Minnesota State Amateur.
Since Van Rooyen turned professional in 2013, he has won twice on the PGA Tour, as well as once on the European Tour.

The 34-year-old took a break from professional golf after competing in the 2024 Shriners Children's Open in October having finished 46th.
Van Rooyen is currently placed 73rd on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is 40th.

All eyes will be on the Bellville-born golfer who won the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship for his first PGA Tour win in over two years.
Van Rooyen, who made a putt for an eagle on the par-5 18th hole on Sunday to win, has what it takes to successfully defend his title this weekend.
