Rayo Vallecano will face off with Atletico Madrid in a

The Vallecans emerged as 2-0 winners over UD Almeria away on 11 August in what was their opening game of the 2023/24 season.
Vallecano have won two of their last three home matches while the other game ended in a win at the Estadio de Vallecas.
Meanwhile, Atletico were held to a 0-0 draw by Real Betis at home on 20 August as they extended their unbeaten run to six league matches.

Vallecano will be without Andrés Martín and Raúl de Tomás who are both out injured, but the club has now suspension worries.
Atletico, on the other hand, have no suspension concerns, but Jose Maria Giménez, Reinildo and Koke are on the club's injury list.
