Ludvig Aberg will be keen to register his second win of the 2025 PGA Tour season by clinching the
Arnold Palmer Invitational trophy.
What to know about Aberg
The Swedish star turned professional in 2023, having been ranked number one in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for a total of 29 weeks, and he finished second in the 2024 Masters Tournament.
Aberg has won five professional tournaments so far, including two PGA Tour events, one European Tour tournament and two trophies that are part of the Swedish Golf Tour.

The Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida-based golfer has been inactive since he competed in the 2025 Genesis Invitational in Carlfonia, USA, where he was crowned champion.
Aberg is currently ranked fourth in the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and it is also his best overall ranking.
Why Aberg is among the favourites
The Arnold Palmer Invitational will be Aberg's first professional event since he won the 2025 Genesis Invitational on 16 February after he birdied the final hole to shoot a final-round 66 and win by one stroke over Maverick McNealy.
The win at the Genesis Invitational has surely boosted the 1,93m tall golfer's confidence and he will be determined to carry that form into this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational.

“To come here to win this event is really special,” Aberg said after being crowned champion at the 2025 Genesis Invitational.
“Coming down the last couple of holes is the most fun you'll ever have, and that was the case today and I think I used that to my advantage.
“The game at our level is so tight and a good season can be separated by just a couple of points here and there. So if you can find just a little bit that’ll make you a little bit better, a little bit more consistent or a little bit more control, I'm going to be up for it and I think most guys will do, too.”
