Cagliari Calcio will battle it out with Inter Milan in an
Italian Serie A match at the Unipol Domus on August 28.
Current Form
The Islanders drew 2-2 with Venezia FC away on 5 May 2022 - extending their winless run to five matches in Serie A and they will now face Torino FC away on August 21.
Cagliari are also winless in their last two home matches in the Italian top flight having recorded two consecutive defeats at the Unipol Domus.
Meanwhile, Inter secured a 2-0 win over AC Monza at home on August 19 and they are now unbeaten in their last three games in the Serie A having recorded three wins in a row.
The Big Grass Snake has won two of their last three away matches in the league while the other game ended in a defeat to SSC Napoli as the away side.

Cagliari trio of Gianluca Lapadula, Marko Rog and Marco Mancosu are currently out injured and they will miss the games against Torino, and Inter.
Inter, on the other hand, could be without Matteo Darmian who picked up an injury in the game against Monza.

“I’m satisfied, we prepared well for the match against a difficult opponent like Monza, who offer excellent football," Inter manager Simone Inzaghi said after their win over Monza.
"I saw the enthusiasm, also created by this sold-out stadium. We had an excellent match with some imperfections that we will try to fix, but I have good sensations. Defensive ferocity must be one of our strengths.
"The boys applied themselves: let’s not forget that [Francesco] Acerbi wasn’t there and that after a few minutes, Darmian sprained his ankle. We were short in defence, but we always created chances. We definitely need to improve in the non-possession phase."

Inter emerged as 3-1 winners over Cagliari away in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 15 May 2022 at the Unipol Domus.
The win extended the Big Grass Snakes' unbeaten run against the Islanders to six matches in the Italian top flight.
