Lando Norris will be looking to register his second win in the 2025 Formula One World Championship campaign by winning the
Japanese Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver narrowly missed out on the Chinese Grand Prix title on 23 March, the second race in the 2025 Formula One World Championship season.
Norris started on the third grid and he went on to finish second behind his teammate Oscar Piastri, but he finished eighth in the sprint event.
Formula One title ambitions
The 2015 MSA Formula Championship winner with Carlin is placed at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings, having accumulated 44 points.
Norris is eight points clear of second-placed Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing and nine points above third-placed George Russell of Mercedes.
Why Norris could win the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix
The talented racing driver has been the standout driver in the current season, having won the first race in Australia before finishing second in China.
Norris, who won five Grands Prix across seven seasons, will be eager to win the Japanese Grand Prix in order to consolidate his stop spot in the standings.
What did he say?
“Overall, a good result today in what was a very tough race with tyre management required," Norris said after finishing second at the 2025 Chinese Grand Prix.
"I don’t think a lot of people were expecting a one-stop strategy, but the team executed it well to secure a strong result with great points. We’ll debrief the entire weekend to look at the positives and the areas we need to work on before we head to Japan next month.
"A big thank you to everyone in papaya for their effort and support this weekend!”
