Valero Texas Open wins by clinching the title for the third time in his career.
What to know about Conners
The Canadian golfer turned professional in 2015 after being the runner-up at the 2014 U.S. Amateur, which earned him a spot in the field for the 2015 Masters Tournament.
Conners competed on the Web.com Tour and has so far won two professional tournaments, both part of the PGA Tour, the Valero Texas Open (twice).

The 33-year-old took a short break from golf after competing in the 2024 Valspar Championship in Florida, USA where he secured a top-10 finish - finishing eighth.
Therefore, Conners is placed 21st on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) ahead of this year's Valero Texas Open and it is also his best overall ranking.
Why Conners is among the favourites
The 2010 Ontario Amateur winner tends up his game when he competes in the Valero Texas Open, having won the tournament on two occasions.
Conners won the 2019 edition before successfully defending the title in 2023 and he is now keen to win it for the third time - equaling a Valero Texas Open record held by Arnold Palmer and Justin Leonard.
