2024-25 Spanish La Liga
Matchday 31
Leganes v Barcelona
Estadio Municipal de Butarque
Leganes, Spain
Saturday, 12 April 2025
Kick-off is at 21h00
La Liga leaders Barcelona will target a return to winning ways when they travel to the Community of Madrid for a clash with Leganes at the Municipal de Butarque on Saturday, April 12 in the late kick-off.
The Blaugrana saw a 10-match winning streak come to an end after they were held to a 1-1 draw by top-four chasing Real Betis on April 5.
However, Real Madrid failed to capitalise on the slip-up from their arch-rivals as they suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat at home to Valencia, which allowed the Catalan giants to go four points clear at the league summit.
Atletico Madrid ramped up the pressure on second-placed Los Blancos with a 2-1 victory at Sevilla on April 6 to slash the gap to three points in third position.
Los Pepineros remain in danger of losing their top-flight status after squandering a 2-1 lead at the Bernabeu to lose 3-2 against Real on March 29.

Borja Jimenez's side have lost four of their last five matches to sit three points adrift of safety in 18th spot ahead of their crunch encounter with Osasuna on April 7.
Barca head coach Hansi Flick welcomed the point gained against Betis, stating that it took them ever closer to reclaiming the title from Carlo Ancelotti's team.
"It's part of sport, we can't win every single game," the German said. "I am happy with the point because it's one more. I am happy with the second half - we gave everything and we tried everything we could."

Jimenez has highlighted the massive role the supporters will play in the run-in to the season and he hopes to repay their faith by avoiding relegation.
"They are very important for us, as they proved last year and this year as well," the Spaniard said. "The schedule is not the best, but we depend a lot on them in these five finals at home to get an important number of victories.
"Let's hope we have the luck we've been missing in the last few games to get a win."
