M. J. Viljoen will be determined to record his fourth career victory on the Sunshine Tour at the
FNB Eswatini Challenge.
What to know about Viljoen
The South African golfer turned professional in 2014 having represented Ekurhuleni Golf Union at the Junior IPT for two consecutive years.
Viljoen secured his maiden Sunshine Tour win in the Sun International Fish River Sun Championship 2017 and his second win came in the SunBet Challenge Hosted in 2022.

The 29-year-old was in action at the recent 2024 SunBet Challenge (Wild Coast) in Western Cape, South Africa where he finished 74th.
Viljoen is currently placed second in the Sunshine Tour's 2024/25 Order of Merit standings ahead of the FNB Eswatini Challenge.
Why Viljoen is among the favourites
The Serengeti Golf Estate-based golfer cruised to a six-stroke victory in the 2024 Mopani Zambia Open at Nkana Golf Club on 16 June.
It was Viljoen's first victory of the 2024/25 Sunshine Tour season and he will be hoping to record his second win at the Nkonyeni Lodge & Golf Estate.

“I’ve worked hard for the last few months and it feels really good to get this result. I lost a lot of playing rights last season, so it’s really good to be back in the winner’s circle.
“My shots on 4, I almost had a hole-in-one today on the 7th, and the eagle on 17 nearly went in for another albatross, those will be my favourite memories and also the fans. I played with Dayne Moore on Saturday and so many youngsters were following us around, there was just noise all the time and it was awesome.”
