Marc Marquez will be determined to finally win the
Austrian MotoGP title having finished second on three occasions.

The Ducati Gresini Racing MotoGP rider narrowly missed out on a podium spot at the most recent event in the 2024 calendar which was the British MotoGP on 4 August.
Marquez finished fourth at the Silverstone Circuit which saw him collect 13 points from the race and he finished 19th in the sprint race.
MotoGP title ambitions
The 31-year-old is now placed fourth on the 2024 MotoGP Riders' standings having accumulated 179 points from 10 races.
Marquez is 13 points behind third-placed Enea Bastianini of Ducati and 62 points behind leader Jorge Martin of Ducati.
Why Marquez could win the 2024 Austrian MotoGP
Marquez has just been unlucky at the Red Bull Ring where he finished as the runner-up on three occasions in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
The man nicknamed the 'Ant of Cervera' worldwide (due to his height of 5' 7" (1.68m), will be determined to boost his world title ambitions by winning the Austrian MotoGP.
What did he say?
“We would have saved the weekend with two fourth-place finishes, so it’s a pity for yesterday’s mistake," Marquez said after the 2024 British MotoGP.
"Unfortunately we were a bit too much on the back foot this weekend as our base set-up didn’t work as well as we’d hoped.
"The team did a huge job and we were ready for the race. I would have signed yesterday for a fourth in the race and we achieved the goal today.”
