Scottie Scheffler will be hoping to redeem himself by winning the
BMW Championship after finishing second in last year's event.

The American star competed in the Paris 2024 Olympics where he won the gold medal in the men's tournament and he has also won 16 professional events.
Widely considered to be the best golfer in the world at the moment, Scheffler has been crowned champion 12 times in the PGA Tour.

The lanky golfer was in action at the recent FedEx St. Jude Championship where he secured a top-five finish - finishing fourth.
Scheffler is currently placed at the top of the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) having spent over 100 weeks in the position.
Why Scheffler is among the favourites
The two-time Masters champion returns to the BMW Championship where he finished joint-second behind champion Patrick Cantlay in 2023.
Scheffler, who has won six PGA Tour tournaments in 2024, will be determined to return to winning ways at the Castle Pines Golf Club.

“It was entertaining because I grabbed both of its wings very gently," Scheffler said after finishing fourth at the St. Jude Championship.
"I was able to grab it off the ball and it was trying to flutter as I had it by its wings so you could kind of feel it moving.
“I just wanted to make sure I put it away from my ball so it wouldn’t be going back on my ball.”
