Quotes
“There are always difficulties, but today I want to congratulate the team because I saw growth in terms of our play without the ball,” Fiorentina manager Raffaele Palladino said after the draw against Venezia.
"We took zero risks, and I saw a step forward in our development. It was the same in the second half, except for a few balls down the sides. Obviously, there’s room for improvement, and it takes a bit of time and patience.
"Of course, we wanted to give them a victory, but there’s absolutely no pressure. We need mental balance and a positive environment. Patience is needed, and I’m sure the steps of growth will come.”
Head-to-Head
Fiorentina claimed a 2-1 win over Monza in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 13 May at Stadio Artemio Franchi.
As a result, Viola are undefeated in their last two league matches against the White and Reds having recorded two successive wins.
