Wyndham Clark will be among the favourites to win the 2024 American Express due to his position on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR).
What to know about Clark
The American has won two professional tournaments since he turned professional in 2017 after winning the Pac-12 conference championship in 2016.
Clark has won one major event which was the 2023 US Open having also clinched the Wells Fargo Championship in the same year.

The Arizona-based golfer is back in competitive action for the first time since he featured in the 2024 Sentry Tournament of Champions and he finished 29th.
Clark is currently placed 10th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and it is his best overall ranking.
Why Clark is among the favourites
The year 2023 proved to be Clark's best as a professional golfer as recorded his first PGA Tour victory at the Wells Fargo Championship before clinching the US Open.
The 30-year-old will be eager to carry that form into 2024 and win the American Express trophy which would be his third victory on the PGA Tour.
