Blaine, Minnesota, USA
25-28 July 2024
Lee Hodges will be determined to become the
3M Open's first back-to-back champion when he competes in the eagerly anticipated event.
What to know about Hodges
The American golfer won twice and was named to the All-SEC first team and Ping All-America third team during his days as a University of Alabama student.
Hodges turned professional in 2018 and he has since been crowned champion twice including the 2020 WinCo Foods Portland Open which was part of the Korn Ferry Tour.
Latest news
The 29-year-old has been inactive in competitive golf since he took part in the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open in Scotland where he finished 46th.
Hodges is currently ranked 76th on the Official World Golf Rankings and his best OWGR ranking is the 52nd spot.
Why Hodges is among the favourites
The 2014 Alabama 4A individual state championship winner claimed his first PGA Tour win at the 2023 3M Open and he won wire-to-wire, winning by seven shots.
Hodges, who beat joint-runner-up Martin Laird, J. T. Poston and Kevin Streelman, has what it takes to retain the 3M Open title at the TPC Twin Cities.
