The Norwegian golfer is one of the PGA Tour's bright young stars, with six victories in his first five years, including the 2023 Memorial Tournament.
Hovland is the reigning FedExCup champion and he has won 10 professional tournaments including two World Wide Technology Championships.

The 26-year-old has been out of action since he took part in the 2024 PGA Championship where he mounted a serious challenge for the title and finished third.
Hovland is placed fifth on the Official World Golf Rankings and his best OWGR ranking is third place.
