Rickie Fowler will be hoping to become the first golfer to win back-to-back Rocket Mortgage Classic titles since the event was established in 2019.
What to know about Fowler
The American star has won 10 professional tournaments and before that, he was the number one ranked amateur golfer in the world for 36 weeks in 2007 and 2008.
Fowler is one of only three golfers to shoot 62 in a major championship, achieving the feat at the 2023 US Open, played at the Los Angeles Country Club.

The 2010 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year took part in the recent 2024 Traveler Championship where he secured a top 20 finish - finishing 20th.
Fowler is currently placed 50th on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), and his best overall ranking is fourth place.
Why Fowler is one of the favourites
Fowler has played in the Rocket Mortgage Classic each year, with two top-12 finishes, including his victory last year.
The former Oklahoma State University student won the event in a playoff over Collin Morikawa and Adam Hadwin, and he will be keen to retain the title this weekend.

“We are excited to welcome fans back to the Rocket Mortgage Classic this summer," said Jason Langwell, Executive Director of the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
"It will be amazing to have Rickie join us again after the showstopping performance he put on during Sunday’s final round last year, along with some other top names."
