The American star had a successful amateur career and was the number-one golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 55 weeks.
Cantlay has won eight times on the PGA Tour as well as the 2021 FedEx Cup and he also won Web.com Tour's Colombia Championship.

Cantlay was in action this past weekend as he participated in The 2024 Players Championship where he finished 68th.
The man nicknamed Patty Ice is currently placed seventh on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and his best overall ranking is third place.

Cantlay is back at the Valspar Championship for the first time since he finished as the runners-up in 2017 behind the winner Adam Hadwin.
