Peter Malnati will be keen to make it two wins in a row in the PGA Tour by clinching the
Texas Children's Hospital Houston Open trophy.
What to know about Malnati
The American golfer turned professional in 2009 and previously played on the Korn Ferry Tour (then known as the Web.com Tour), where he is a two-time winner.
Malnati, 36, is an experienced golfer who has won eight professional tournaments including two PGA Tour events and one in the eGolf Professional Tour.

The New Castle, Indiana-born golfer was in action at the recent 2024 Valspar Championship where he was crowned champion over the weekend.
Therefore, Malnati is now placed 65th on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR) and it is also his best overall ranking.
Why Malnati is among the favourites
The 2015 Sanderson Farms Championship winner is in good form at the moment having won his second PGA Tour event at the 2024 Valspar Championship.
Malnati shot a final-round 67 to get to 12 under and win the Valspar Championship by two shots, and he will be confident of winning the Houston Open this weekend.
