2024 CJ Cup Byron Nelson is poised to take place at the TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, Texas, USA between 2 and 5 May.
What to know about the tournament
Established in 1944, this event is named after American legend Byron Nelson who is widely considered one of the greatest golfers of all time.
The PGA Tournament was not played in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it moved north to TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney in 2021.

South Korea-based CJ Group signed a 10-year contract to become the title sponsor of the PGA tournament hence the new name, CJ Cup Byron Nelson.
The Salesmanship Club of Dallas remains the host organization of the event and it is part of the FedExCup Regular Season,

Headlining the 2024 CJ Cup Byron Nelson field are Jordan Spieth, Tom Kim, Will Zalatoris, K.H Lee and reigning champion Jason Day.
Jake Knapp, Nick Dunlap and Stephan Jaeger, who have all won PGA Tour events in 2024, also be part of the 156-player field at the TPC Craig Ranch.
What Is At Stake
The 2024 CJ Cup Byron Nelson purse is set for $9,5 million, with the winner's share coming in at $1,71 million.
This year, the winner will also receive 500 FedExCup points and the CJ Cup Byron Nelson trophy.
