In what was a brilliant 2023 Formula 1 season for Fernando Alonso, the Spaniard recently revealed what he intends on doing once his
Grand Prix days are over.
At the age of 42, Alonso has been one of the most impressive drivers during the 2023 Formula 1 campaign and helped Aston Martin to a fifth place finish on the Constructors championship list.
Currently level on points with Carlos Sainz (200) heading into the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this coming weekend, Alonso could finish the season in fourth place in the Drivers standings.

th place finishes in Brazil, Qatar and Australia.
Now though, the racing veteran recently mentioned that he intends on winning the Dakar rally when he leaves formula 1 and believes that winning the gruelling race would ‘complete’ him.
