2023/24 Italian Serie A
Matchday 13
AC Milan v Fiorentina
Stadio Giuseppe Meazza
Milan, Italy
Saturday, 25 November 2023
Kick-off is at 21h45 CAT
AC Milan will be looking to snap a four-game winless run in
Serie A when they welcome Fiorentina to the San Siro on Saturday, November 25 in the late kick-off.
The Rossoneri have fallen off the pace in the title race after a 2-2 draw with Lecce on November 11 left them eight points adrift of league leaders and arch-rivals Inter Milan in third position.
Stefano Pioli's side only managed to collect five points from their last five matches, which has allowed Napoli (4th), Atalanta (5th) and La Viola (6th) to slowly gain ground on them in the last month.

Fiorentina arrested a three-game losing streak by beating Bologna 2-1 on November 12 to close within a point of the UEFA Champions League places.
The Tuscany outfit have a chance to go level with Milan in the standings with a three-point haul in Northern Italy - a feat they haven't achieved since 29 September 2019.
Christian Pulisic appears to have settled down quickly in his new surroundings after joining the Rossoneri from Chelsea in July. The American winger has registered four goals and two assists in 10 appearances, although he missed the last two games with a thigh injury but is expected to return to action against Fiorentina.
Nicolas Gonzalez is enjoying a productive season at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, scoring six goals in 11 outings. The Argentine winger has already equalled his tally from 20222-23 and is just two goals shy of his personal best for La Viola.
Olivier Giroud has made an even better start to the campaign for Milan, bagging seven goals, including three in his last three games, though he will miss this clash through suspension. The veteran French striker is out of contract at the end of 23-34, but he is keen to extend his stay in the capital of Lombardy.
"My contract expires in June. I haven't spoken about it with the club yet, but I would like to stay. I'm convinced I can still be useful to this team," Giroud told Le Journal du Dimanche.
Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Italiano praised the desire of his players to go for all three points against the Rossoblu and he's hoping it will be a turning point after poor run of form.
"We added the right attitude today, that desire to win and competitive fire that we had at times been lacking this season," Italiano told DAZN.
"This is the spirit that leads to victories and we couldn't afford to slip up again after three very painful defeats. Bologna were coming off a completely different period of form and that was visible in the performances, but we can rebuild after these three points."
