The
2023 Zozo Championship is set to take place in Chiba Prefecture, Japan between 19 and 22 October.
What to know about the tournament
The tournament is the first event sanctioned by the PGA Tour in Japan having been established in 2019 and the deal will last until at least 2025
It has been sponsored by ZOZO, a Japanese clothing brand, since the event's inception and it is also part of the Japan Golf Tour.
The field
This is set to be a 78-player field and the tournament will be played out over four days, with this event marking the fourth event of the FedEx Fall.
The field is headlined by the likes of defending champion Keegan Bradley, Xander Schauffele, Hideki Matsuyama, Adam Scott, Collin Morikawa, and Rickie Fowler.
What Is At Stake
The 2023 Zozo Championship carries a total prize purse of $8.5 million and that means the winner will take home $1,53 million.
The champion will also earn 500 FedEx Cup points and a trophy that has been lifted by Patrick Cantlay, Tiger Woods, Bradley and Matsuyama.
