Luke List will be eager to become the second golfer to win back-to-back Sanderson Farms Sanderson Championship titles after Dwight Nevil (1973, 1974).
What to know about List
The American star is a veteran golfer who turned professional in 2007 and he has been crowned champion twice in the PGA Tour.
List's best performance in a golf major came at the 2019 PGA Championship where he finished sixth and he also has two wins in the Korn Ferry Tour.

The former Vanderbilt University student has been inactive since he participated in the Wyndham Championship in August - missing the cut.
List is currently placed 95th on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), and his best overall ranking is 45th.
Why List is one of the favourites
The 39-year-old always brings his A-Game to the Sanderson Farms Championship having finished second in 2016 before being crowned champion in 2023.
List made a birdie on the first playoff hole to win a five-man playoff and he will be confident of retaining his title this weekend.
What did he say
“I can’t say enough about what a great job all of the Sanderson Farms Championship team has done this week, the golf course is unbelievable, the hospitality is amazing, and the people are so friendly,” List said after winning the 2023 tournament.
“I think all my emotion kind of came out after that putt, and then it was just shock, really, still. But to have them there means everything. The last one my son was a little smaller and he's starting to get into golf a little bit.
"But just my wife, she's incredible, and her steadiness and perseverance to keep me level and positive is a job in itself. It’s just tough sometimes backing myself, and she's always got my back. It was really special having her and my kids here.”
