Red Bull Racing driver Sergio Perez will be hoping to successfully retain the
Singapore Grand Prix title having won it last year.

The Mexican racing driver was in top form at the recent Italian Grand Prix title on 3 September as he challenged for the title and he finished second.
Perez started on the fifth grid and he went on to finish as the runner-up as he collected 18 important points in the process.
Standings
The man nicknamed Checo remains second on the World Drivers' Championship standings having accumulated 219 points with eight races left.
Perez is now 145 points behind leader Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing as the two teammates' battle for the championship continues.

Checo knows what it takes to win this race having clinched it last year and he will be oozing with confidence when he competes on the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Having finished second in the latest race on the 2023 Formula One World Championship calendar, Perez will be looking to go one step further and secure a win in Singapore.
What did he say?
"It was the maximum we could have achieved today, it was so difficult to overtake, a lot harder than we really thought," Perez said after the 2023 Italian GP.
"It was really insane because I had to use a lot of my tyres. In the end, we managed to get both of them. I think we’ve done a lot of progress.
"On the setup side, I’m feeling a lot more comfortable in the car. So I do expect that we will see the best form in the next races."
