Cameroon will battle it out with Namibia in the 2025 AFCON qualifier at the Stade Roumde Adjia on 7 September.
 
Current Form
 
The Indomitable Lions drew 1-1 with Angola away in their last international game which was the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier played on 11 June.
 
Cameroon are undefeated in their last two matches across all competitions having recorded one draw and one win which came against Cape Verde.
 
Meanwhile, Namibia suffered a 5-0 defeat to Angola in their last international match which was the 2024 COSAFA Cup final played in South Africa on 7 July.
 
The defeat ended the Brave Warriors' seven-match unbeaten run across all competitions having registered four successive draws and three consecutive wins.
 
Team News 
 
Eric Maxim Choupo Moting has been excluded from the latest Cameroon squad as the former Bayern Munich star is a free-agent, but Didier Lamkel Ze is back in the national team.
 
Namibia, on the other hand, have been boosted by the return of their inspirational captain Peter Shalulile who missed June's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers due to injury.

"To a certain extent, it's like the previous [AFCON qualifying] group repeated again," Namibia coach Collin Benjamin said after the 2025 AFCON qualifiers draw.
 
"With Cameroon, Kenya and Zimbabwe – it's really tough. It's going to be hostile matches in Yaoundé, in Harare, and in Nairobi."
 
Head-to-Head 
 
This will be the fifth meeting between Cameroon and Namibia across all competitions. The Indomitable Lions have won two matches compared to the Brave Warriors' one win, while one game ended in a draw.
 
The last meeting between the two teams ended in a 2-1 win in favour of the Brave Warriors in the 2023 AFCON qualifier played at the Dobsonvile Stadium in South Africa in March 2023.
