Jorge Martin will be keen to get his bid to win the 2024 MotoGP world title back on track by winning the
Emilia Romagna MotoGP.

The Ducati Prima Pramac Racing rider failed to secure a podium spot at the San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP on 8 September, the most recent race on the 2024 MotoGP calendar.
Martin started in the fourth grid, but he endured a disappointing race as he finished 15th and collected just one point from the event held in Misano Adriatico.
MotoGP title ambitions
The man nicknamed Marinator is still placed at the top of the MotoGP Riders' standings having accumulated 312 points from 13 races.
Marinator is just six points ahead of leader Francesco Bagnaia of Ducati Lenovo Team with seven races left in the current season.
Why Martin could win the 2024 Emilia Romagna MotoGP
The 26-year-old was the most consistent rider in the MotoGP until he finished 15th in the most recent race - securing three consecutive runner-up finishes.
Martin knows that he cannot afford any more slip-ups and he will bring his A-Game to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
What did he say?
“It's very difficult. What does being the best rider mean? It's very ambiguous, it's very difficult," Martin said after the 2024 San Marino and Rimini Riviera MotoGP.
“There's a high level, the four of us who are there in the fight, the four with Ducati, Pecco [Bagnaia], Marc [Marquez], Enea [Bastianini] and I are one step ahead – that's clear. At the moment, it may seem arrogant, but I think I'm the best rider there is.
“I have to polish things, work and improve. That's something I can't stop doing, because if not, in the end, in half a year, you go from first to eighth. “But I think I'm the fastest there is, and the numbers show it, it's not just me saying it.”
