“We've had a good pre-season and worked hard on our intensity," new Napoli manager Rudi Garcia said after his side's win over Cyprus' Apollon Limassol in a friendly game on August 11.

"We played at a low tempo and our movement was a bit off in the first half today but after the break we upped the pace and our quality.

“I'm pleased with the new arrivals and with those who played tonight. It's a solid group of players who help each other on the pitch even when fatigue starts to set in. "We'll be ready for the start of the season," he added.

All that matters is we're in top shape for the game against Frosinone. We'll need to produce a good performance because our opponents will be really up for it.”

Head-to-Head

Napoli secured a 2-0 win over Frosinone in their last meeting in the Serie A which was on 28 April 2019 at the  Stadio Benito Stirpe.
